Written Story Collection
The individual stories from across the community weave together to tell the larger story of how Thousand Oaks was affected in the days and weeks surrounding the shooting and the fires. In partnership with the Museum of Ventura County, Thousand Oaks Remembers will gather the written stories of this community to be archived with the entirety of the project so that the stories shared will be saved. These stories can be signed or anonymous, and are all valuable and important.
Collecting the Stories: There are several options to submit a written story including: the online form below; finding one of the community writing posts and submitting the story at the writing post; submitting a written story to a facilitator at a listening group event; requesting a facilitator or a writing post to be provided for your group/community/business.
